I'm actually curious about how you ended up jumping around so much. I guess as mentioned earlier I can go read your previous posts. Do you not have any other friends/family somewhere you could go crash with?

Edit: I read a few of your posts back as far as April, and look like you where in WV then and have been job hunting the whole time, correct?? Have you done a lot of moving around just for jobs? I guess I'm curious since I have been basically looking for a job that makes me feel worthwhile for 3 years and I have constantly refused to look for a new job outside my local area....so please, tell tell tell your life story.

Convex, if it was that easy, don't you think I would be working now? In fact, if you read my post at all, it says I had a job, and it also says I'm willing to WORK in exchange for work and food. I'm not looking for a handout. Don't be a jerk. You're not in my position.

"I'm willing to WORK in exchange for work"

I'm confused on that one.. Try this site USAJOBS - The Federal Government's Official Jobs Site If your a biologist, you should be hired very quickly. If you like feel free to e-mail me a resume.I may be able to assist.

It's a typo (akin to your use of 'your' instead of "you're"). I meant I'm willing to work in exchange for lodging and food, as I previously stated.

And I HAVE tried USAJobs (that's where I got my last two Federal jobs). I've also tried Texas A&M F/W, CraigsList (because at this point I'm desperate enough to be a janitor or work at Wal-mart), and just about everything else. Have you looked on USAJobs yourself? There are no biology jobs that aren't 'open hire'. There are plenty of forestry jobs, and plenty of GS 0404-12 jobs. I'm a GS 0404-05, maybe an 06 if I get the right opportunity; I don't come CLOSE to qualifying for a 12. But trust me, my resume there is active and up to date. I apply for EVERYTHING that I come remotely close to qualifying for. Unfortunately, so do the other of thousands of unemployed biologists.

And I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I am dubious about how someone with such poor grammar, punctuation, and typing skills can assist me in finding gainful employment.

I offered to assist.the offer is still on the table. If nothing else I have an opening for an admin assistant. starting salary is 54.985 per year.

(akin to your use of 'your' instead of "you're") too funny!

I pay and treat my staff well. The only reason people leave is because they retire, or die. When you have good people you treat them right.
