As I posted in an earlier thread I am moving up this weekend and looking a lots of different area to purchase a home. It looks like Fairview is a little ways out but that isn't an issue for me.
Looking forward to getting away from people for a while.
I have a neice who lives in Fairview...about 400 people, safe with NO crime..Old homes...
Two gas stations and a couple of stores. Elementary School and Middle School to 8th grade.
Fire Dept and one cop...mayor is the city judge...industries nearby...coal mines and gas drilling work.
Cheap place to live.
There's a little market in Fairview, owned by a chef, that used to serve great food. I think it's called Poppy's. They just built a restaurant next door and now they serve even better food. Worth a look if you go there.
Phone the Post Office(304-449-1022)..if any thing is posted on the information board the postmaster will give you the number...other than that, you will need to visit the town and drive the streets....
