I've been searching for an apt and came across river hill towers located 1155 warburton ave. there has been much advertisement on many of their units and have been on the market for some weeks now. The reason i am interested is due to their garaged parking and 5 min walk to metro north (greystone station). Also, it seems like a great place to live and relax to the scenic hudson river views...The city is just too hectic and theres no way i can live there with a car. I wanted to know more about the area (NW Yonkers)- whats the crime like in NW yonkers? safety? How late can a young woman arrive to greystone station at night? Is it safe to walk in this area? How isolated is greystone station? I understand that SW yonkers is really bad. Is passing by Glenwood station to get to greystone station safe? How is the building and tenants? In the reviews River Hill Tower Apartments in Yonkers, NY | Apartments.com
it states that is horrible (fbi drug bust, brown water, shabby people in common areas) but, those are all mostly old posts from early 2002- 2007. theres nothing updated as to the property.

Hi, what if any did you find out about River Hill apartments in Yonkers, NY? I'm thinking of moving to yonkers but I to don't have a car as of yet and want to move to a decent neighborhood suitable for children and near public transportation. Any info will be appreciated.
