I wonder if the $165k was super low. I think it was. That's the price of a 1BR co-op, not a condo in a top shelf town. Maybe fair price even 2014 was more like $300k? Then add in $100k of theoretical renovations (kitchen, bath, floors, etc) Then some general appreciation and it doesn't seem as outrageous anymore. Thanks.

That 1BR seems like a poor value.
I bet someone overpaid for renovations.

Here is a 2BR in the same complex for only $30k higher
