Called the white plains assessor's office and they said you can file to grieve the taxes between January 1st and January 20th. Anyone else done this and can confirm that is the time?
And also if you went through the process do you have any advice? I think I should be okay because I am actually buying the house right now (knock on wood that everything goes fine before the closing), so I'll have the contract and appraisal as proof. I just want to know of any gotchas, like my questions about the filing date. Thanks
