Is it risky to buy a house that was built in 1996 and has synthetic stucco? What are the concerns? What is the likelihood of water damage and is it expensive to replace if need be?
1. Maybe 2. Moisture damage behind the EIFS/synthetic stucco. 3. Hard to tell without an inspection, but if there is a smell in the house or obvious signs of water penetration (especially around windows/doors) that's an omen. 4. Also hard to tell w/o inspecting. Could be a little. Could be alot.
Appreciate the feedback - one follow up - if it is fine today what is the probability we would have a problem down the road?
