I just received an email from Poppies Market to their customers. They have lost their lease and will be closed "for an unknown amount of time" until they find a new location.

Wow. Wnder if it really about a lease or just the economy. Too bad. I wondered if they were going to be able to make a go of it.

Wow, you scared me. At least it's only a lease issue and not a closing issue! Poppies is one of the incentives to move to Brevard.

Here is Poppies' newsletter. They talk about the lease situation, and are trying to sell as much inventory as possible to help with moving expenses.

The company that owns Market Place or St or whatever it is where Poppies is located went into bankruptcy last year. Plenty of empty building so hopefully it won't be too long. The garden was such a nice place for music.

You mean they could stay in the same building?

According to their newsletter, there is a new building owner and they were presented with a new lease. They can't afford the new rent. That's why they have to move.
