Hi...My husband & I are Florida natives living in Tampa. We are seriously considering a move to Asheville. In simple terms, Florida is not the wonderful place it was when we were growing up and not the type of place I want to raise my family. A little background: We vacation in Waynesville, where my best friend has a home. My parent's are also looking to build there. We have 2 young boys and I am very involved in equestrian activites.

We would be looking in the $500k-600k range. Any neighborhoods/communities come to mind where it would be easy to meet other young families and still be close to horse stables? Maybe a planned community where there are a lot of planned neighborhood activities? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Thank you!!

Just wondering if the Parkies ever found the planned community they were looking for in the Asheville area. Their description of their "wants" some months back really struck a chord with my husband and myself. We would love to settle in that place! Thanks so much .
