Are there bike (motorcycle) nights with live bands in the Asheville are? If so, where and when?

Might be worthwhile to check with the Harley Davidson store in Swannanoa at exit 59 on I-40. They would probably know.

Rodneys Automotive often has a bike night in downtown Weaverville. The bikes line the streets. Not sure when the next one is but I am sure you could call and ask. I think he normally does them as fundraisers for a good cause

There is what I would call a bike night , or something along those lines somewhere off of 74 , just past Waynesville. I forgot the exact exit , as I was returning home , and was lost late at night. There is a street lined with bars , and there were people walking around everywhere , which struck me as a bit odd until I saw the businesses. They were playing a type of rock music.

Coming to my office this morning I noticed that Rodneys Garage in downtown Weaverville has posted that tonight is Bike Night. I know he is normally getting in full swing around 5pm with music and food on the grill

Is that in Maggie Valley maybe? Possibly the Salty Dog? Or, something else??

My observation of the typical motorcycle rider in the Hendersonville/Asheville area is 60ish, has a beard, a gut, and rides a black HD.

I seem to recall seeing a sign stating Salty Dog , now that you mention it. I was headed toward 40 east , and was looking for a gas station that was still open. I believe it was about 10 or 11 at night , the station was located directly across from the freeway , up a hill on a side street , across from a Holiday Inn.

Correction , the store is located off of exit 81 , near Dillsboro , and is on a street called Rufus Robinson Road. The place I passed is called Jarrett House , and a place called Golden Carp was across the street. In my mind , the distance from Webster Street to the store seems a lot shorter than it actually is , however , the entire area seems like a short jaunt from Charlotte , maybe because I try to enjoy myself as much as possible on these journeys. Whenever I head that way , I usually leave around 1 or 2 in the morning , to arrive at my destination at or just before sunrise. When you think about it , once you get to Asheville , you are basically in the homestretch , or at least it seems that way to me.
