I think they are reclusive. I actually thought it was my neighbor's tabby cat and went out and spoke to it. Then I looked more closely and realize it was a bit larger and the ears were different, so I grabbed my binoculars and saw it was a bobcat. It wasn't terribly afraid of me, but I did let the dogs out after getting the pictures. I didn't want it too comfortable around our house.

He has a nice smile.
But I'm sure it's rosé .
If he is that unafraid of you, it could get serious,
particularly for your pets.
Problem ,
If you act fearful or entertained by it ,you are in fact prey. without a doubt.

However if you act like a predator and you will eat him, he will see that as a threat and move on.

But you've got to be convincing regardless of what is going on inside you.
I'd have a good real defensive weapon in hand while doing it in the event your bluff is not enough ,,but unless you take serious aggressive action, he will not feel any threat, and continue hunting in your neighborhood, and become even more bold.

They are extremely reclusive/elusive and primarily ( although not exclusively ) nocturnal. it's rare to see one ...especially during the daylight hours.
The only time I have seen them on my very heavily wooded property ( over 50 acres ) is via my trail cameras and always at night . Saw one dead on the side of the road one time but that doesn't count.
Curious...how close were you with that camera?
Being that one seems so close you out in broad daylight and is lacking in fear I would be a tad bit concerned it could be rabid, please be careful !
That's a gorgeous picture btw , thanks for sharing it !
