My Fiance and I are planning to move to the Sylva area by fall of 2017. She is an RN with 9 years experience and ICU Nurse, I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 14 years. Can anyone out there give us a salary range that we might expect for our positions there??? We know we will take a pay cut, but wonder how much. Hoping to get an answer from someone that works at the local hospitals. Thanks to anyone that can help!!
Great question! As a future RRT, I would also like to know. Leatherneck, I would love to hear about your experiences and/or advice if you have time to message me. Thanks.
You are looking at most likely working for the Mission Health system, specifically Angel medical Center near Sylva. I can tell you that my wife is an O.R. trauma BSN and makes comparatively the same that she made in Central Florida. WithOUT shift difs etc, expect ~ $30/hr base. Not sure about the RRT.
