We have not seen one, even a passerby, for a week+...
We were amazed to see several every day, post Irma remnants, as it was severe 'up here' at 4,800 ft.
But, none the past week, and after today/tonight's thrashing only the 'lost'/blown off course may wander by on our mtn ridge.
We will put the feeder out every day though, for another week or so.
YMMV, depending on elevation, micro clime, et al.

Last several we saw was on 9/30...There were 2 or 3 of them hanging around during the morning to mid-morning, but that was it. The numbers dwindled significantly beginning mid-September. Hope they didn't get into trouble from Nate.
Our cabin is at ~3500' elevation on the northeast side of Cold Mountain.
Think I'll leave it up for stragglers for another week or two.
Thanks to all

I haven't seen any in the last 2 weeks or so. We are at 4400 feet. I didn't even realize it until I noticed they weren't buzzing me in the mornings while I sat on the deck. I left one feeder out for this past week, just in case and haven't seen one. Prior to that, we had 8-10 regularly hanging out in our trees and fighting over the feeders.
After yesterday/last night's blow and rain from Nate, only a passerby may show at our mtn joint...
It was not Irma strong last night, but it got our attention.
Took a couple hours past sunrise for our crop of titmouse, chickadee, cardinal, junco, nuthatch, grosbeak, towhee, et al to come out to the feeders, from wherever they had cooped during the storm.
H feeder stays up for a weekish, but they are gonzo at our alt.

Up here in Burnsville our normal hummies have gone south a week or two back . Nothing for a week or so and now it's an occasional hummy visits and gone again . Our feeders are half full now and we tend to leave them out till the first snow or the first 32* morning is on the way and many times that would have happened by now .
