Just wanted to say I had occasion to visit this area of artists in Asheville and saw some really nice works of art.

In particular, I fell in love with the beautiful quilts made by a nice lady there named Patty Torno. Anyone who loves quilts like I do will find her work just exquisite

Patty is great! I've been seeing her work for years at Piedmont Craftsmen in Winston-Salem. I agree that there are a lot of very talented artists in the River Arts District. Definitely sign up for e-mail notification for their strolls and open studio events.

I found her work amazing! Would love to have the cash to commission a quilt from her - maybe one day
