Seriously. They are the NEW choice, the alternative to Baptist.
They are extremely condescending, and if you don't eat organics, do yoga everyday, and drink mead, then you are lessor than them, and you need help.
They look down upon people who smoke pot or drink beer, they are extra snooty hippie types. I think that they need to go out of the city and live on a hippy commune where they can micromanage their co-ops, and each other. They can hold a meeting on how sunflowerchild didn't ohm in the right direction on Monday, and it messed up everybodies chi energy for that day. The can them spend 2 hours discussing how they know how to ohm better than anyone.
Then they can hold another meeting on how to communicate with sunflowerchild in a positive way to tell her that she ohmed in the wrong direction.

Sounds like somebody has "issues".
The new "hybrid" religions, like the ones that combine ancient teachings such as yoga with the so-called "new age" religions, are no different than any other religious movement; that is, they mostly end up being more about the ego than anything genuinely "spiritual". As such, most "followers" fall into the historically predictable trap of thinking that *their* beliefs are the *only* beliefs.
In reality though, what you believe is irrelevant. It's what you do that counts.
But in any case, why should it bother you? (or as my niece always says: "get over it!").
