I heard Ms Kleefisch give an interview this past Sunday. My impression was she would make Sarah Palin and Scotty look intelligent. Does Walker surround himself with stupid people to try to make himself look not so dumb? This is the woman who would take over as governor in the unlikely event that Walker got elected president!

WI Lt. Gov Hopeful Rebecca Kleefisch: Gay Marriage Leads To Dog Marriage, But I’m Not Being Insensitive / Queerty

Watch and listen as Republican Lt. Governor candidate Rebecca Kleefisch keeps it real while explaining that Jews (or Muslims, or Hindus, or anyone else who isn’t Christian) aren’t qualified to serve as governor of Wisconsin (starting about 28 seconds into the video):Rebecca Kleefisch: Jews aren’t qualified to be governor | Blogging Blue

The interviewing reporter then informed her that Ryan co-sponsored a bill with Akin aimed at categorizing rape. "Well, I think there is a way to have a more forcible rape, the same way there are different types of assault," Kleefisch responded.

And people wonder why I'm so hard on rural/suburban Wisconsin. People who believe these things in the 21st century aren't fit for mainstream society, let alone public office. THIS is who you people want to be our governor? She makes Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann look like Rhodes Scholars.

This is just ridiculous. You have to wonder what is in the water where that individual is from..

Kleefisch symbolizes what I'd have to call the dumbing down of Wisconsin; something that has gained traction & speed.
What has happened to a state I once held in high regard & considered as a possible retirement location? Scratch that thought!

Well, "dumbing down" has gained traction almost everywhere.

When your links/sources are from a website called Queerty (whose slogan is "Free of an Agenda. Except that Gay One") and Gawker, it's kinda hard to take this seriously.

It is true but it's from 2010. Daniel Bice - Kleefisch's uncle objects to anti-gay marriage statement
