Good question radraja. I don't understand how someone who acted so loyally to his fans can just abandon us. Stick with retirement!

It's all business. "Family" goes out the window when you're deciding to do what you think is in your best interests.

100% correct. This is about the almighty dollar. It has nothing to do with the "Packer family" or loyalty. I think there is allot of legal mumbo jumbo going on. The Packers are terrified that he would end up in the NFC and worse yet, the central. Favre may get some type of release, but I bet there will be stipulations involved. Like he can't play for an NFC team (if they can even do that) And then you have the egos...

I guess a lot of us just thought he was above all that?

Maybe not...

Nobody is above all that.

Unfortunately, neither side is handling the situation very well.

He needs to become some kind of offensive coach or something for the Packers...like some of the other former packers....I agree Brett is being quite the DRAMA QUEEN! Take the heels off and go enjoy your retirement! Is ESPN hiring?

Ahhh, the Lombardi days! Love that take on it and very true! This has gone on too long, he said, then he said, enough already!

Now giving an interview to Fox, oh, please! He said he wanted back, they said o.k., then he says no I don't, the whole thing needs to be done. Yes, he had a good career but he's 38 and this should be over, period.

I am hearing Tampa Bay now-which makes no sense. They have Garcia and Griese. I dont think they can afford Favre too.

Actually, I heard that both the Bucs & Jets want him. AND, the Bucs are $26 million under the salary cap. So Favre's measly $12 million should fit in just fine. Don't quote me on that, I have been trying my best to avoid even listening to the whole thing unfold.

Personally, I think he should just retire like he said he was going to. The NFL doesn't need a drama queen. (no offense to all the Favre fans...it's just getting really annoying).

I heard he showed up at Lambeau on Sunday for the scrimmage and wasn't allowed in the locker room or on the field. Too bad, so sad.

/off soapbox

what do you mean, if it wasnt for Favre news, there would be just boring NFL draft, and injury reports. I love the drama. I could not disagree more with you about that. A good show, needs drama to heat it up. Now we are all going to be watching the packers and what ever team brett goes to. It will be huge draws every week. I CANT WAIT
