Exclamation How is your legislator voting on WI "Puppy Mill Bill?"

The WISCONSIN Smith/Kreitlow Commercial Dog Breeders Licensure Bill S/B-208-AB-250, is currently still in committee in both the State Assembly and Senate. Public hearings are in Madison this Wednesday,9/23/2009. The Wisconsin Puppy Mill Project: Dedicated to Ending the Suffering in Wisconsin Puppy Mills left menu for legislative updates.

This is a bi-partisan plan to address Wisconsin's "Puppy Mill" problem. This legislation will require people and groups selling more than 25 dogs or less than 3 litters to be licensed, inspected, and maintain standards of care for their dogs.

Humane care of animals should be a concern for all Wisconsinites. Find out how you legislators will vote on this bill.

To find the contact information for your state legislator: 800-362-9472.
