I had a mild aniexty attack because I was informed by my supervisor that the boss wanted to see me in the office. It feel like strange because all the times I been in a manager's office was because of a write up. But I was told that I have been doing a great job and they are impressed at my ideas and that a raise will be coming soon.
I couldn't even enmjoy the news right away because my heart was pounding so fast while I was in their I was unable to talk. So anyone had this situation?
Soooooooo....I guess you have not been late for 3 months ?
My lateness was never a problem because I stay late every night and one of the top performers on my team. And most importantly I have a likable personality

If your lateness was never a problem, then why were you about to get written up for it?
I don't have a boss, but one of our group is the 'director' and handles all the flack...she never calls or writes us to tell us of good news. This has naturally generated a pavlovian response - whenever I see an email or an incoming phone call from her, I automatically react negatively.
I think I would do things a bit different in that regard. Good things happen all the time and we need to celebrate them.

I do believe other workers will want to change their hours too.

She was afraid that HR would notice my lateness and would FORCE her to write me up. So she moved my start time back so that she wouldn't be in that situation.
