Guys I have a conundrum at work. I was recently hired as a manager in a mid sized Philadelphia company. We have the one employee who is constantly late, and complains about everything. I'm pretty sure he wastes his shifts posting on internet message boards.
Anyhow, I called him in to fire him, and told him that it was time to part ways. He thinks that it was a compliment and keeps coming in to work. What do I do?
She was afraid that HR would notice my lateness and would FORCE her to write me up. So she moved my start time back so that she wouldn't be in that situation.
UNDERSTAND????????????
But your tardiness had also been noted by your supervisor's boss, which part you missed out. You very narrowly escaped being written up by your own admission.
We all understand that although your degree is allegedly in communications, communication is very difficult for you but your story-changing and omissions obviously lead to some considerable doubt about the veracity of anything you say, Pinocchio.

Let me try this again because I know you are getting older. She felt that they may start looking at my arrival and just to make sure nothing would happen she changed the shift. No one brought my lateness to her attention she was just saying that it may be a possibility HR is looking so let me change your shift

Oh, oh, Pinocchio. You must be tripping all over that proboscis. Now be a good boy and respond to SouthBound47's workplace dilemma which, in your esteemed and valued position as a "Career Counselor", should be a pretty simple task ...

UNDERSTAND????????????
So your tardiness was likely against HR policies then?
I'll admit that TV Guy made a splash when he joined this forum and I joined in on some of the initial fun but the incessant responses to the minutiae of his posts over the last year+ really doesn't reflect so well on his stalkers. I don't really care that people do it, just thought I'd add my two cents.
It's not so much "stalking" per se as just that his posts seem to pop up all over CD lol
