I need to come up with some ideas as to what gifts to give to my employees from the company. Everything has been shot down so far such as a bottle of wine, monogrammed box, etc.
Give them a gift card to a grocery store or a restaurant.
The first year my FIL did that, everyone was so happy. Plus, he was supporting HIS clients at the same time. The following year, he gave cash bonuses. Fewer were happy with it - they had to pay taxes on it (higher than typical) and more than one put a note in the suggestion box requesting he 'bring back' the gift cards.
Not everyone wants or needs a bottle of wine, a box, etc. Though those things are 'nice', gift cards (especially for lower level employees) are better - EVERYONE needs to eat.
I give my direct reports gift cards every year. I try and "personalize" them since for the most part I know the types of places they go. For example I have one employee who goes to Starbucks every morning. So I will get her a Starbucks gift card.
How about gift certificate for car detailing for the exec's? Another thing that I gave once was 2 gift certs for a Segway tour. If you are near a major city they should have them. They are loads of fun. You can google Segway.
I'm going to give them each a gift certificate to Target.
Target (aka Tar-je, LOL) is seriously one of my favorite places in the world... so I'd be like a kid in a candy store with that gift certificate. Good choice!

I just can't figure out what to give our execs now.
Are they male, female or both, and what kind of work do you/they do? Also, what is your budget for each person?
They are male. One is in his 70's and the other has to be in his late 40's. They both travel here from NYC (that's where our main office is) several times per month.
One year, for the sales manager, I made these coupons to give to her employees for a random day off. Of course there were stipulations on it - like it couldn't be used for cash reimbursement and the day off still had to be pre-approved. To our amazement they loved it.
