Due to the increasingly complex and multi-layered government entities at each of the three levels, there are a multitude of jobs available because the complexity of government creates public service jobs.

I read another post saying in the past schools only had a handful of employees, now there are dozens in one public school for example.

I hope for their sake they're not a recent grad. That's the kind of question you ask when you're deciding on a major.

OP- If you're currently in college and thinking about political science as a major, go to your school's poly sci department. Usually all departments carry in-depth literature about the departments/majors and should also have some kind of flyer that lists most of the common jobs that people get with the major.
