Me too! If you take lunch too early, it just makes the day drag on forever. Recently my supervisor penciled me in (we're flexibly scheduled) for lunch at 12pm, when I had an 11-6pm shift... I politely asked her to change it, since that would have been really annoying. I mean, lunch would come before I'd even digested breakfast.

I agree, when I was 10am to 6pm I would take lunch at 2pm. But to take lunch 2 hours before you are scheduled to leave is just stupid. So if you are 9 to 5 the lastest you should be taking lunch is 1pm not 3pm

Lunch should be taken halfway through the workday, give or take.

I could rebut you on this score until the cows come home but it won't sink in and you'll continue to chant the same old refrain so no point. Amazing how one dimensional someone can be.

Well...let me put it this way. If I have worked all day, without a break and I can still manage half an hour off for a break/lunch or whatever...I'll take it, and I don't think that I am stupid for doing that. Apparently TVSG thinks otherwise. Go figure.

Trying to believe that TVSG would refuse to take a break or leave early, if he misses lunch by 1:00 p.m. Just sayin'.

Please stop typing in such god awful colors. I feel like I am reading an AOL profile of a 15 year old girl from 1999..
