I've had a female boss harass me.

I loved every minute of it.

Her husband never found out.

There is a coworker that continuously puts me down and calls himself a "veteran" and "senior". He is big on tooting his own horn about small accomplishments that everyone else has too. It is pretty strange.
He kept texting me these messages and he would point out every little thing I did wrong through text message so he didn't have to say it to my face. I finally blocked his number. I saw him the other day and he wouldn't look at me as if I hurt his feelings. Freedom.

Why some co-workers harass & insult each other ill never understand. They should be terminated on the spot.

I once had a superior yell at me to fix my F**king hearing ... Also, this same individual threatened to terminate me if I did not fix my hearing within two weeks ... He was just plain nasty and hostile towards me and fortunately, I wound up quitting that dead end job and never looked back. I no longer need to list this position on job applications as most only require 10 years of employment history and I left that heck hole 10 years ago!

I don't know if this question was directed to me or now but I'll answer about my reasons for not suing ... What good would it had done for me professionally-speaking in terms of looking for work? Last thing I want is to be known as someone who is litigation-happy as that would scare off potential employers. Also, I did not wish to burn any bridges as I needed references in order to locate another job ... Finally, I was not emotionally up to a lawsuit as I'm sure his lawyer would have tried to tear me into shreds. Let's not also forget how difficult it is to prove the harassment outside of my meticulous documentation of each incident - who would have backed me up?

My good friend was sexually harrassed at work-I mean abused..she ended up getting him fired-but her career was over..everyone couldn't understand why she would stop the gravy train-if you were friends with him or worked under him you would get special perks-6% raises while everyone else was getting 3%...she ended up taking another job making about 10K less because of it..it happened 4 years ago and she still wonders if she did the right thing.
