When you start a new job you want to do your best but feel like you can't do anything because you're taking on all this new knowledge about the environment. This is normal and your boss knows this. In some short time, you'll find your groove and feel satisfied once again. Good luck!
How do you generally feel after the first day at a new job? Had my first day today. I like the people, but am feeling somewhat overwhelmed. Hopefully that's normal!

I genuinely HATE first day's on a new job! As a consultant for 30+ years, there have been many... but regardless of where it is or for what company, I still dread the first day at any given assignment. After that, the sailing is smooth.
