Hey all,

I need your help regarding my recommendation letter from my current company. Since I'm not originally from the US I'm not sure if it's a really good one or not (it might be different in Europe, dunno).
My boss told me he was really satisfied with my work and he sent me this letter and told me I should tell him in case I'm not happy with parts of it.
So here's the letter, could you please tell me what you think? Is it a very good recommendation or what should be changed?
Thanks so much.

To whom it may concern:
This letter is to highly recommend XXX. I had the privilege of working with XXX from ..., 2011. During her time with arvato systems, XXX worked on a variety of projects with the Marketing and Sales department, including:
• Writing of press releases
• Creating presentations and reports using Excel, Powerpoint, Word
• Organizing events and meetings
• Analysis of competitors
• Social media management (planning, developing and setting up a Facebook group)

XXX did a fantastic job and gave 100 percent to all of her tasks. Her entrepreneurial mindset and dynamic working style brought new ideas to her project groups as well as into the everyday work at arvato systems.
XXX came across extremely energetic, enthusiastic and full of life. Her personality was not only magnetic, but also inspiring to those around her and myself. She took on difficult tasks and was always the first to volunteer. I thought her initiative, hard work and ability to work well in a group environment was extremely impressive and a breath of fresh air.
It was always a pleasure to have XXX in the office. Her hardworking values and outgoing personality make her a strong candidate and great addition to any company. I can give her the highest possible recommendation to any future employer. Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions or concerns.
Regards,

This seems great. What more would you possibly want? But this isn't really a New York question. Maybe you'd like to ask in the Work forum.

Aside from saying you can walk on water, cure cancer with your touch and change water into wine, I'm not sure it could get much better.

Not only is the manager saying you did your job well, it looks like they are saying that you are a great person to work with and willing to go the extra mile and take on new tasks, all things that should help in situations where you are applying for jobs that are different than the exact job you had before.

Judging from the accolades given to you, being from outside the US doesn't impair your ability to read, comprehend and create oral and written presentations so I'm not sure why you would even begin to think that this is anything other than an excellent letter of recommendation. Frame it!
