Nashville, TN. Collars blue or white, workers find 9-to-5 to be just a dream.

When Jeff Latondress was 20, he was trying to create a business that could finance a nicer home, allow his wife to stay home with their daughter and maybe buy a few of life's nicer nonessentials.

So, Latondress worked a lot.

He worked seven days a week, sometimes even 15-hour days. In fact, during the early years of the business that would become Latondress Auto World, he spent his days repairing customers' cars and his nights as a staff mechanic repairing Nashville Electric Service's vehicles.

Right now, zero. I wish I had a job! My last job was technically an 8 hour day, but I generally finished in about 6 - 7 hours most days.
