I'm currently writing a business plan and getting my ducks in a row. I was wondering if anyone had any book recommendations that may have some tips or what have you to help organize or motivate a new business owner, sans employees for the foreseeable future. Is Rich Dad Poor Dad a good one? Thank you.

Ok. No problem. Can you recommend something, then?

I don't have any book recommendations, but I can recommend a couple of online resources that have been very valuable to me.

1.) 10 Question Business Plan - If you need to create a business plan to get funding from a bank or investors, then you'll need to do the full plan. However, if you are planning to self-finance your business, then the following link may help you pull together the entire plan in a short amount of time.
Business Plans | Spark and Hustle - Conferences and Events for Startup and Small Businesses

2.) SmartBrief for Entrepreneurs - Starting a business can be very rewarding - but also difficult. If you are planning to be a solo entrepreneur, then daily emails from SmartBrief will help you stay connected to other entrepreneurs who are willing to share their stories - both good and bad. Sign up for the emails and you'll receive great information every day.

Best wishes!
