Sitting like a bump on the log on her couch anymore Thats right this girl

I got a job!!!!! Its an accounting assistant position at our local paper that also owns other papers in the surrounding areas... Honestly I forgot all about it since I interviewed in the begining of March and since I hadnt heard anything figured they didnt pick me.... So Im not dwelling too much on the fact that they might of hired somebody and it didnt work out in the mean time..I still have to wonder what that person did to screw up so I dont do it... Its fulltime, no weekends, 8-430 and it pays 12 an hr and I start Monday

So for all those out there that are still in the boat. Dont give up and I know some days are harder than others cause I was having one of those days before she called me. Eventually things will work out... Now my only thought is getting up early is gonna kick my butt for sure the first week LOL... So I had to share to all those that have been supportive of my sassiness thank you so much and to the rest that sometimes are negative to be negative ...

All I do know is Im staying put for awhile cause its too freaking hard out there not to.......

Love Luck and Lollipops,

~~~ Miss Tara~~~
Now now don't diss the temp services... not all of them are bad! I got my job via a temp service and it was a breeze... after the intial pre-hire meetings I never saw them again... all they did was sign the check every week until I went permanent with the client.
I'm sure it could have been a lot worse!
Default Congrats!
Best of luck in the new position! As for the getting up early part, You would be surprised how easily the body remembers and can adapt. Grab a coffee and a good breakfast to fuel yourself and your brain and you are good to go!
My last fulltime position was like that for the Logisitics company I worked for.. I never talked to the woman ever until we were all let go in Aug... They kept people contract for years...I was with them a year and 3 months but there were people that had been there longer that were contract..Im just happy to get paid for those lovely holidays that fall during the week
