I've worked with smokers but never where it was interfering with me getting my job done. Even if talking to one of them while smoking they were considerate enough to point their smoke away, even though I stand at a distance. It depends on the type of people you work with smoking or not some people love drama.

How about giving a bottle of patchouli oil to the smokers, see if you like that better.

I said that facetiously, but there are some oils that might be pleasant, such as geranium, neroli or ylang ylang, for the guys sage, thyme, spearmint. Or a drop of peppermint on your tongue after a smoke.
