I once applied to a scam. It appeared legitimate, and then they'd call me but not leave a message.
Out of curiosity, I called them back over the weekend. They had NO message machine, just some automated message from a VoIP company...which made me suspicious.
I decided to pick up the phone when they called and they said where they were located. It was too far for me anyway, so I used that as an excuse. I did a quick google search and immediately found results about what a scam they were. What they do is sell their "job" as "executive administrative assistant," but actually give you perfume and drop you off in the middle of Minneapolis!
You're better off looking elsewhere for employment. Not saying there aren't genuine and real employment jobs on there, but it's mostly scams, and you have to end up filtering through a lot of garbage.
You have failed to answer your phone. I will request you provide to me both your Home and Cell phone numbers. The material you are to get are listed below:
1. Business Size Check Paper ($24 for a pack at Officedepot)
2. FedEx Envelopes
3. FedEx Airway bills
You can get enough of the envelopes and airway bills as many as you can pick up. I wait your reply with the both phone numbers as requested.

Uh yeah, what the job here is that he wants you to mail the fake checks out for his scam. Do NOT get involved in this!
Yes those jobs are totally scams. I have experienced very similar scams when I was searching for a home on craigslist a few months back. They asked for the same exact information and said that the place was mine know questions asked. All I had to do was send them the deposit and they would send me the keys because they had just moved to Africa. LOL. I don't really believe someone would fall for that

I did reply to it because even though my spidey sense was going off, I was being a bit too much of an optimist. What can I expect from this person? And what should I do? Is my credit in jeopardy? Please answer me soon as I am a bit of a nervous wreck after not listening to my gut feeling... Thank you.
Doesn't the use of this famous American person's name give you a clue? Avoid these scammers and don't answer them again!

Looks like a scam to me, super easy job, great pay for little effort, everything provided, and limited time offer, so time pressure to jump on it before you can think it through. Yes, this has all the elements of a job scam.

The spelling so bad even Google translate is now ashamed does not give it away? The fact that a job so simple that anyone can do it needs to find people by approaching them does not give it away? Any temp agency can fill a position like that in minutes, but they approach people by email, and you wonder whether it is legit?
