Define dramatic? Using the ever popular 1-10 scale what does this mean. Does a 10 have a dramatic advantage over a 1? Probably. What about a 9 vs. a 6? How about a 7 vs. a 3? Or a 6 vs. a 4?
Then of course you have other variables to throw in. A 9 with average experience vs. a 5 with great experience?
Something interesting I've noticed as I've switched from a diet consisting of a case of soda and 4 fast food trips a day to "healthy" eating - I don't anywhere near as much volume in food anymore. Especially true after I cut the sugary stuff out. Although it seems more expensive at first, it's actually far cheaper for me to eat healthy than junk in the long run.
Cuts down on medicat bills in the long run also...
You don't need to be rich to eat healthy, hubby and I certainly aren't wealthy and manage to eat healthy. Look around for local produce places, there are websites dedicated to telling you what foods are in season in your area (which makes them cheaper), etc. Also, frozen vegetables and fruits are awesome, there are times when they go on sale for cheap and I bulk up on them so that I can have healthy frozen veggies that last for a long time
Last week the stores had this huge pack of read leaf lettuce for $1. I was able to make 4 lunches with that lettuce (with other things, egg, avocado, cheese, tomato, cucumber, etc), but my lunches rarely go over costing more than a few dollars a day. Breakfasts even less. I made my breakfasts for work the next week, and I am very sure it is costing me less than $1 a day for breakfast.
We've tried. Unfortunately this area isn't very health/produce oriented. My girlfriend is a health but and went all over town looking for cheap fresh food. She came back empty handed. We have more fast food joints on two streets than we have anything else. It's disgusting.
I miss my old town. Fresh produce was cheap and everywhere because it was a farm town. This place is the opposite.
In some retail establishments, hell yes. Some big box retailers use pretty to create a vibe and contribute to the psychology of getting an upscale shopping experience.
