One thing that irks me at jobs is pushy supervisors,more specifically ones that don't seem to have an idea of how long something takes to get done...they just stand there and estimate how long it should take in their estimation.
Well sorry but how long do you think it would take them if they were actually doing it? That's what I'd like to know...

Having been on both sides, I kinda agree and disagree with you. Being on the receiving end is never fun but I have managed resources who would easily take 3x the time to get a job done. They may see me as a pushy manager but I know I can do that in one-third of the time because I used to do it not too many years ago.

On the other hand, you have managers who were never hands-on. In that case, yes, it is a pain to work for them as they are not qualified to judge your skills or efficiency.

?...most everyone has some sort of manager/supervisor.
