I snack, but it's healthy stuff.

Today my breakfast was my protein shake (made with greek yogurt, milk, a bit of strawberry jam, and some protein powder). Then my lunch was salmon with roasted broccoli and cauliflower.

Later I snacked on a banana and some cashews

Dinner was stir-fry made with strips of steak, sugar snap peas, and shiritake noodles (it's some kind of root).

BUT I did enjoy a mini magnum ice-cream- definitely a treat I'd been looking forward to! Usually I don't have ice cream, maybe 1-2 times a week

My snacks usually consist of nuts and fruits

You people who get hungry shortly after eating need to eat more high protein breakfasts and snacks. Eggs for breakfast, nuts or cheese for mid morning snacks. It keeps the cravings down significantly. When I get hungry during the day, I take a spoonful of Smuckers all natural (no sugar added) peanut butter. It's quite satisfying.

Peanut butter straight from the jar is one of life's great pleasures!

I also love vanilla frosted donuts and cinnamon rolls. Back in the days when I worked in an office, I ate a lot more of them than I do now.

I know....duh

Today, I've eaten almost all the snacks in my lunch and only have a pb&j and a bar left for my lunch.
People have their drawers full of snacks/ candy and several people in my department have candy jars on their desks.

I see different people snacking and out of the 100-200 people in this office, I'd say at least 10 people at any given time are eating something, and not during lunch!

Also, I'd estimate that 80%+ of people here have at least one cup of joe a day. Some people several. Myself, I don't drink coffee, but I drink a lot of water...not because I'm any more exhausted or dehydrated than any of my previous jobs, but just because it's something to do to kill the time...

Not sure what the point of this thread was, just an observation. BTW, I'm 5'10, 140 so don't call me fat!!

People choosing to continue to eat all the snacks in the office without walking or some sort of exercise is what makes people fat. Working in an office environment does not make people fat.

Exclamation Lol...

Co-workers eating habits were the best diet incentive I could have ever had! I watched obese women
walk into work with bags and armloads of snacks and taco bell and huge bags of chips with 2 liter bottles of pop to wash it all down with and then call husbands, kids and friends to bring them in a little something to eat. I like a snack now and again but I got to the point where I couldn't stand the thought of food during my work shift. 'Are you hungry?', 'want a snack?', 'eat...eat...eat...' . It actually got to the point where people would comment on 'never seeing me eat'...well, they ate enough for a large army and it made me sick.

The last office I worked at didn't have many snacks. It was downtown, so we always took a stroll for coffee and snacks. . It balanced out!

I am on my phone, please forgive the typos.
