I agree that it sounds like a form letter acknowledgement, however the wording does seem a bit dismissive for some reason. One could chalk this up to the general public's rapidly diminishing ability to communicate effectively in writing. As long as you have an interview scheduled I would move forward but always assume there's no offer until an offer letter is signed and compensation agreed upon.

Either they have changed their mind about your candidacy or it is a computer glitch.

I would not acknowledge the form letter if you decide to initiate follow-up.

I agree that it wasn't a very helpful statement. I would ignore it and carry on with a positive spirit unless you receive notice that the next interview is canceled.

Well, if they cancel the next interview, then I guess it would mean that they weren't interested. Otherwise they probably figure you're looking at more than one job at the same time.
