I agree that it sounds like a form letter acknowledgement, however the wording does seem a bit dismissive for some reason. One could chalk this up to the general public's rapidly diminishing ability to communicate effectively in writing. As long as you have an interview scheduled I would move forward but always assume there's no offer until an offer letter is signed and compensation agreed upon.
I just got a response to a thank you letter stating "It was great to meet you, Good luck with your search". I am still scheduled to interview another member of the team in the future. Does this mean that they are no longer considering me?
Or it might be a sloppy way of saying "good luck with the interview process".
I agree that it wasn't a very helpful statement. I would ignore it and carry on with a positive spirit unless you receive notice that the next interview is canceled.
Well, if they cancel the next interview, then I guess it would mean that they weren't interested. Otherwise they probably figure you're looking at more than one job at the same time.
