What is the job out look for graduates with a Bachelors degree in EE? Would it be smart to pursue an Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree in today's economy? Is it in demand?

Dont you guys have Electronics Engineering in the US? seem to make more sense in this day and age. When I was getting my degree I was actually quite confused because I had so many options. I picked computer programming eventually

Its only smart of one can handle the course work. If you are thinking of this, i would find a community college that has a pre engineering program/agreement set up with a nearbye university, then if you survive a couple years at community college, then consider the engineering degree. It is still highly in demand and new grads can expect about 60-65k/yr as soon as they graduate.
