What I wear everyday now which does not generally change from season to season.
Pull over shirt with 3/4 sleeves, sneakers (no socks, I hate socks) and peddle pushers.

I religiously wore a suit like the 'other' people at my workplace for 4 years but this year I 'regressed' back to wearing whatever I feel like... and that's almost always sneakers, jeans and a tshirt. Once in a while I dust off the suit and they (colleagues) love it - I get compliments for 'looking sharp' yadda yadda but I think they understand that now-a-days the suit is just for 'special' days and it's just not me on a day-to-day basis. Never had complaints and I think it helps me get along better with the 'clientele' and helps me project the fact that I really don't feel as though I 'fit in' with my colleagues due to the age gap between us etc.

Inexpensive, comfortable, resilient clothing, rather than clothing that is expensive, relatively uncomfortable unless excessively expensive, and delicate clothing prone to being damaged easily.

ding-ding-ding-ding

Especially on days like today here where it's going to be near 90 degress and it's humid outside. I absolutely hate having to wear my button down long-sleeve dress shirts on days like today.

I spent 8 years in a trade doing electrical work. It paid well, but I hated it and hated always being in dirty jeans and tshirt and being sweaty. Every time i'd do work at an office building I would comment about one day when i finally get an office job I would dress well.

Now, i'm a mechanical engineer. I can wear t-shirt jeans and sneakers to work, but I find I like wearing khakis, polos, collared shirts, nice watches, dress shoes, etc to work. Once in a while I'll do t-shirt and jeans, but I actually like looking half decent at work considering I spent 8 years of my life wishing i had the chance to

I believe that is subjective, people can look "half decent" in jeans and tshirt.

I would definitely wear jeans. I hate my dress pants so much; they look awful and I'm self-conscious and uncomfortable all day as a result.

I like dressing nice. My idea of nice is jeans, a nice blouse/shirt and a jacket. I make jewelry so I've always got some jewelry on. I usually wear flats but not sneakers or gym shoes but I don't bother with heels since I have to walk about a mile to get to work.

We have casual Fridays, but really, they only thing that changes about how I'm dressed is my pants. I still look professional when I'm sitting and you can't see my legs. Considering I've never seen a customer I don't understand why I can't wear jeans everyday, except that if they allowed them you'd have people take things too far and go too casual and look sloppy/unprofessional.

Fridays are my favorite day mostly because I can wear jeans. Now I try and use my vacation days on Mondays instead of Fridays just for that reason. I hate dress codes at work, I really do.
