Do Job boards actually work?? (job openings, alternative, interviewed, applications)

I don't understand the premise of your question.
Job boards list jobs that actually exist (unless you apply to a position listed by Cyber Coders or Robert Half Technologies). Clearly those jobs need to be filled. When you find a job on Indeed you aren't applying to Indeed, you are redirected to the application site for that particular company.

Whether you get an interview depends on whether you are a good fit for the job from how you presented yourself on paper.

The job board has literally nothing to do with whether or not you are getting an interview. Your question as to whether job boards work is like asking whether job announcements in the newspaper worked 30 years ago. The newspaper that published the job ad has nothing to do with whether you are getting an interview.

I was going to say the same thing - industry-specific job boards have been more fruitful in my experience. LinkedIn is great, too.

Most jobs aren't posted, online or otherwise. They haven't been for decades.

My last two positions were never posted online at all.

I have had really good luck with LinkedIn postings. Haven't looked on those sites in years. LinkedIn has been sufficient.
