I'm not sure if this question belongs in this section or education. However, I've been a stay home mom for over a decade and would like to go back to school next year and can't decide between a two year degree in ultrasound or sign language interpreting. Does anyone have any experience in either of these fields? I'd welcome any response regarding the pros and cons of each….and any comments from stay home moms who've transitioned back into the workforce. I'd like a career that will allow me to relocate anywhere in the world. At the same time, I've been taking sign language classes and absolutely love it….need another point-of-view. Thank you.

Why not both? Get your ultrasound certification and learn sign language on your own time. If ultrasound doesn't work, you'll always have sign language.
