Has anyone ever heard the status "application/resume returned to HR"? It's for a state ODOT position and I called them once and they told me they were going through the applications a week ago and now this is my status? Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this. TIA.

Sounds like the manager decided to interview/hire other candidates, so your materials went back into the pool for other managers to consider if they have openings.
