If you get fired from one branch, can you get hired at another branch? (owner, company)

For example, if you get fired from one branch of a company (such as McDonalds, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Wal-Mart, etc.) for whatever reason, can you get hired at another branch at a different location? Will they have you're file that says you got fired at another branch? Does it depend how far away? If I got fired from a McDonalds in New York City, can I get hired at a McDonalds in China if the manager there is interested in me?

It's just something I'm curious about.

I expect it would depend on a few factors. First of all, are the locations corporate owned or are they each independent franchises? If they are franchise locations owned by separate individuals it is highly unlikely that they would share personnel files and information. Secondly, what did you do to get fired? If you embezzled money or peed in the iced tea or something egregious you are much more likely to find yourself on a do not hire list than if you simply failed to meet expectations and were let go.

Too many factors to give a definite yes or no, it all depends on why you were fired, corporate owned vs privately owned franchise, and depending on how desperate the new place you applied at is and if the store manager or district manager is willing to waive a possible do not hire mark.

I worked for a privately owned Franchise i applied for a postion at the same company just a different owned franchise by another private owner my question is can they hire me or do i have to wait a while before i can be hired another franchise owned business.
