I have a pretty successful ebay business. I enjoy selling online. I enjoy the challenge and of course, the extra money that I made.

Not sure if this is the proper forum to post this question, I am just wondering besides ebay, what are the other alternative places to sell? Auction sites and just a shopping site that can generate a lot of traffic.

Thoughts? Thank you all in advance.

There's Amazon. There's Craigslist. But nothing really compares to eBay. With the low fees and reach, I haven't found a good alternative. I'd be interesting to see what others say.

Amazon is the only one I can think of if you become a seller (I don't think it is easy but not impossible though it is harder to sell especially if Amazon sells the item at rock bottom pricing) but I think there are a number of others.

Amazon does not allow my type of merchandise. I tried to set up an amazon store, but they no longer accept jewelry, clothing, accessories sellers. Plus, their site is so not user friendly. It takes forever to add a listing. I don't think amazon is for me to be completely honest.

I have heard of Etsy.com I want to give that site a try. You two can try etsy.com as well. One lady I know makes about $3500 a month selling on etsy.

Ebay is the best, IMO. I've successfully sold some bigger items on Craigslist but it sometimes is a pita as you really have to be more careful of scammers and no shows.

Maybe other online retailers do not want to tell us their secrets.

Or few use other options than eBay.

Amazon. I'l be honest I've sold on both. Ebay is good to get the most money but Amazon will get you a faster sale. But you really do have to keep up with their demands because they are strict.
