A technician has been killed by a robot at a Volkswagen plant near Kassel, Germany.

A 21 year old external contractor was installing the robot together with a colleague when he was struck in the chest by the robot and pressed against a metal plate.

And? An American worker is killed on the job about every two hours, every hour of the day, every day of the year. I have no idea what the German, European, or world count is.

Trust me, more workers die due to negligence of other human workers than killed by a machine.

At least the robot did not suffer any dammage ,according to the report , that would be terrable.
