Hi, I put in a transfer request at work for full time in a different department about a month ago. Boss was supportive of the transfer and what they could do to make it work. Still under review the application just sitting there no word or updates yet. Boss talked to HR who said it was possible if my manager approved it. Now just in limbo waiting. I can apply without boss approving the transfer goes via HR my boss said, kind of odd, at 6 month's. Have one more month till I am at 6 month's. Boss can't guarantee me full time but trained me in another department that the boss manages. I work off and on full time when I can.
Figure come October I reapply for a transfer to a full time position. Would it look bad putting in two transfers within the year? Should I hold off until December? Probably not going to be on a full.time schedule for awhile. Kind of want to go full time to pay bill's and better benefits. Full time employee's eligible for $5,000 of tuition and the regular company bonus.
