It's the lowest IT job where I work (1,900 employees) and the pay range is $47-70k. I would expect the populated areas of CA to be higher in pay to compensate for the higher cost of living.

47k to 70k is a lot for entry level
GOOD LORD I CHOSED THE RIGHT PROFESSION
It depends on the area, that 55k in cali is 35k here in the east which is a help desk salary.
One of the post said here about 47k to 70k
So may be higher with senority if they pay that well for entry level I could imagine other companies paying more for that kind of work
End Users are not that bad to deal with
I can't handle heavy work like construction or plumber
Ill taking getting yelled at at the phone any day or even doin computer repair in person
I currently work part time as a IT Technician making 15/hr with an associates degree, also I have another job doing Digital Marketing part time and run a side web design business. Once I finish my bachelors of software development I have a job lined up that starts at 60k in the Philadelphia area. It takes a lot of work and determination to make it in life.
