It is something they should have put in their ad. How did you find out about it? If you got it through the school often the school can find out details like that for you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with asking. You could kind of work your way into it such as after you ask what you will be doing/ learning/ what duties you will be doing. Depending on the kind of internship (what field) you could ask about benefits, such as if it were a exercise science membership you could kind of meld it into a question about getting a free membership or discount.
I think you could focus on how glad you are to get the membership and how great the opportunity sounds and ask then.
