You want the US economy to crash? that's a strange perspective

There are certainly industries or roles where 100K is common, but they are very specific/small
I work in project management for a financial services company. In the US, the average PM makes about $90k. Some more, some less.

No need to get upset over the opinions of strangers on the internet. As long as your salary allows you to spend, travel, and save then it shouldn't matter what people on here think about your wages.

Thank you. I have noticed this for a very long time. Many people here do seem to 1) lie about what they earn and 2) criticize or make snark comments towards people who earn lower salaries. But notice, if you ask those same posters what they do for a living, they won't exactly tell you. That's because they don't want you to know.

Statistically, only about 5% of Americans earn 100K a year or more. That means about 95% earn less. It couldn't be possible that everyone here is making a lot of money, as they claim they are.

Probably working for the government or schools. The only places that pay well and allow you to post on the computer all day long.

Nothing at all wrong with a $20 per hour job or a $50 hr job. If you are happy, and have a good life, be happy don’t worry. Everyone has different wants or needs.

Well as far as schools go, I don't know any teachers who have any time at all to post online during the day.

You'll get all ends of the spectrum here. I think I have a great job ($27/hr with full benefits and no commute) but I certainly don't look down on others who make less. However, I think for posters in good jobs, it can be a bit frustrating. We read over and over about posters who clearly are blaming everyone and the dog for their lack of success, and at some point, people need to realize that adopting different strategies is necessary.

I dont think annual income or hourly wage is a good way to measure wealth....I think net worth is the best way.
