Two weeks ago, I just got hired at Company A, but yesterday Company B offered me a job as well (with better benefits and pay). However I haven't made my decision yet with Job B. Will Company A understand about this because I feel bad thinking about quitting a job I literally just started two weeks ago and I'm not sure what to do. I'm in a awkward position right now. I hope A will understand

It is up to you. It is a business transaction. Company A offered so you accepted the transaction. Now Company B has a transaction offered. Company B is more attractive.

Good luck in life!

It's your life, you need to do what is best for you. Unless there is some other reason you would prefer working at company A, I would take the best offer. I do understand why you might feel bad but they will replace you.

People leave jobs everyday, they'll get over it.

I did that once, verbally accepting Company A's offer. Company B's offer, day or two later, was superior for my long-range plans.

I stiffed Company A. They, uhm, didn't like that. The practice VP never forgot who I was, I bet that's worked against me in the interim one way or another. It can be a small world, payback's a (you know what). Made a lot of money with Company B, but over the long run not sure if it was worth it.

OP should think about short-term gain vs. long term pain. If it doesn't matter, leave. If it does, don't. End of story, it's just business.

No.

My last job, we had a guy start, work a week, go on vacation (pre-planned), and when he came back gave notice. Kind of a bother for everyone. Bridges were burned.

Go with company B. If this burns a bridge at company A... then it shows that they're petty enough that you don't really want to be working with them anyway.
