I have just started a new job and was wondering if anyone out there knows if the company can hold my paycheck if I haven't completed the work opportunity tax screening. I have read that it is strictly voluntary but just want to know if this is something companies can do to make you fill out the WOTC screening. Doesn't sound like a good ethic since it is voluntary.....
Thanks
That is an easy one. Companies cannot hold your paycheck. Ever.
They can fire you for not submitting the info, they can cut your hours or schedule you for times you don't want. They can give you the crappy tasks and yell at you.
