I'm an X ray Tech at the hospital and I worked Christmas Eve and Christmas. We were very busy. What about you?

I have worked christmas, but it isn't really a big holiday to me. I am an oceanographer and we were a couple days late coming in. Last night we went out for Chinese, and the restaurant was full of servers and staff.

I was off this year, but my department (pathology) is crazy busy today (as it always is at the end of the year). Honestly, if I'd known how busy today was going to be, I'd have preferred to have come in over the weekend to read out some of the slides. And if this keeps up, I'll have no choice but to come in over New Year's weekend to play catch-up.

On-duty volunteer ambulance driver, and not for the first time. Thankfully no call outs this year :-)

One year we had a blizzard at Xmas and had 5 stranded families with kids sleeping on the floor of our amb. building. During that night, we did have a call-out for an asthmatic child.
