If I understand your question, of what city you'd choose for a job with similar salaries, I think you're asking in the wrong place.

I think what you really need to do is to research the different cities - cost of living, weather, school systems - and restaurants.

Personally I’d choose Atlanta. Bay Pines is in the Tampa metro and Florida is not that cheap to warrant the lower salary, maybe if it had the salary of the other two I’d consider it.

No state tax helps with the lower florida pay. OP you would have to run the numbers for yourself to see which one puts more money into your pocket.

You mentioned foodie - go with Houston or Atlanta. I'd prefer Atlanta myself, but Houston of course pays the best in this case and has no state income tax.

Hey BrianGC, I actually used to live in Greensboro, went to school there. I've visited Houston and thought it wasn't that bad. My future goals entails PA School and Houston only has one. I prefer to live and attend a PA school around the same radius. Atlanta is what I've determined, even though Houston has the higher pay, I can always transfer if available.

Do you have a candidate in mind, or is this theoretical?

If you are with someone the best person to ask is her, not this board...

What does being christian have to do with anything? In the US 75% of the population identifies as christian.
